Terms of Service

Evara provides a managed website service - we design, build, deploy and host your site, and optionally give you an editor (CMS). These terms explain how that works.

1. What you pay for

A one-time build fee to design, build and launch your site, split in two: half to start, and the balance once the site is built and you have approved it, before it goes live. After launch, a monthly Managed Hosting & Management fee keeps it deployed and maintained on our infrastructure. What each package includes is shown with your quote.

Your package includes one landing page. If more pages are needed, each additional page is €250 and appears as its own line on the quote you approve before development begins. Optional add-ons are priced separately.

A bespoke or complex build - a store, portal, application, marketplace or membership - is a separate project from €2,000 plus a subscription, scoped and quoted individually.

2. Ownership

What you own

Your logos and branding, your copy, the assets you upload, your images, videos and documents, your business information, and the website content created specifically for your business. These are yours during the service and after it.

What Evara owns

The Evara platform and website builder, the CMS, our AI workflows and automation systems, reusable components, our design system, internal tooling, proprietary frameworks, platform features and generic libraries. These are never transferred.

While your subscription is active

Evara provides hosting, the CMS, platform updates, maintenance, security updates, platform functionality and AI-powered features.

So that we can actually build and run your site, you give us permission to store, copy, adapt and publish the content and files you provide, for that purpose and for as long as we are providing the service. This does not change who owns your content.

Where you asked us to leave a placeholder for a section, we write clearly-marked temporary website text so the page is complete. It is not real information about your business, and it is meant to be replaced with your own content.

3. Website export

When your subscription ends you may request a website export, so that the site you paid for does not disappear with the service.

  • The export includes: your website source code, your content, your uploaded assets, and the project files needed to self-host the website.
  • The export does not include: the Evara CMS, the Evara platform, our management tools, our AI systems, our automation workflows, proprietary internal tooling, future platform updates, or internal infrastructure.

You may host the exported website independently, on your own accounts. The website belongs to you; the platform belongs to Evara. An export is a copy of your website - never a transfer of the Evara platform.

The export never contains our credentials. It lists the names of the environment variables your site needs and explains how to create your own - we never hand over API keys, service-role keys or any other secret.

4. The content you supply

You confirm that you have the right to use the logos, photographs, fonts, text and other material you upload, and to let us publish it on your site.

If you give us details about other people - your team members' names, roles, biographies and photographs, or the names and quotes of the customers behind testimonials - you confirm that you have their permission to share those details with us and to have them published on your site.

If a rights holder or a named person asks for material to be removed, we will tell you and take it down. You remain responsible for claims arising from material you supplied.

5. Managed hosting

The monthly hosting & management fee keeps your approved site deployed and maintained on our setup. It does not mean you own or control our hosting account, repository, deployment system, environment variables, API keys or infrastructure.

  • Included: keeping the approved site live at your domain, with normal deployment and maintenance.
  • Not included (unless added): new pages, redesigns or new features; emergency or 24/7 support; recovery from outages of third-party services you own; export or migration to your own accounts.

6. CMS & your content

If your site uses the CMS, it is a paid managed add-on backed by our database, with your content isolated per project. Your content is yours - we can provide a data export of your content and uploaded assets on request. CMS access remains part of our managed infrastructure unless a separate transfer is agreed, and may be disabled (after notice) if the service is not renewed. Converting your content into a standalone or hard-coded site, or migrating it to your own accounts, is separate work and may require a quote.

7. Keys & secrets

Private environment variables, API keys, tokens, deployment credentials and admin access are never transferred to you and are never exposed through the app. To host independently you create your own accounts and keys; we can assist as paid migration work.

Some add-ons run on a service you own - an AI chatbot, for example - and need your own provider key. If you give us one, it is stored encrypted and used only to run that feature for you.

8. Cancellation & non-renewal

If the monthly hosting & management plan is cancelled or stops being paid, we may suspend and then remove the live deployment after reasonable notice. Before that, you may request a data export, a code or project export, a CMS data export, or migration to your own accounts - these are not included by default.

9. Your information & data protection

What we collect, where it is stored, who else processes it and how long we keep it is set out in our Privacy Policy.

In short: your information is held by our database and hosting providers; email, payments and analytics are handled by separate providers; we use AI coding tools when building sites; general intake uploads use public web addresses, while Gallery and client-led design files use private storage.

10. Support & liability

The service covers keeping the approved site live; additional changes, redesigns or features are quoted separately. The site depends on third-party services (hosting, database, domain, email, payments, AI), and we are not liable for their outages or policy changes. Nothing here limits rights that cannot be limited by law, including consumer rights.

11. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Slovenia. Any disputes arising out of or in connection with these Terms shall fall under the jurisdiction of the competent courts of the Republic of Slovenia.
